Rights:

  2. Receive care from healthcare professionals who are properly trained and authorized to practice their profession.
  3. Receive timely, clear, and relevant communication about care and administrative procedures before, during, and after your care.
  4. Be aware of the prerequisites for taking the exam and receive precise instructions from our staff.
  5. Receive kind, dignified, and respectful treatment that respects your age, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, medical condition, and customs, as well as your personal opinions about laboratory procedures.
  6. Receive preferential treatment in the case of pregnant women, adults over 65, children under five, and patients with reduced mobility.
  7. Freely decide whether to undergo the procedure, leaving a written record.
  8. Ensure confidentiality and privacy in all procedures and reports, and receive assurance that they will only be disclosed to third parties with your authorization, consult your reports without restriction, and obtain them in writing and without limitation.
  9. Receive confidential, reliable, and timely results.
  10. Be informed where and how you can submit complaints, claims, suggestions, or compliments about the healthcare provided.
  11. Receive health services in conditions of hygiene, safety, and respect for your privacy.
  12. Access services without being subject to administrative procedures beyond those required by law.
  13. Receive continuous, uninterrupted, and comprehensive services.
  14. Request and receive information about the costs of services received.
  15. Be included in scientific research studies, only if you authorize it.
Duties:
  1. Respect healthcare personnel, take care of property and facilities where such services are provided.
  2. Responsibly comply with the recommendations of the healthcare professionals who treat you.
  3. Present your identity document and the documents necessary for the provision of the service.
  4. Provide the necessary, complete, and accurate information required for both the examination and administrative procedures.
  5. Make the payments required based on the rates established by the laboratory and your health insurance provider.
  6. Take care of personal belongings while on laboratory premises.
  7. Enter the laboratory facilities free of the effects of intoxicating or hallucinogenic substances.
  8. Refrain from smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages within the laboratory facilities.
  9. Refrain from bringing pets into the laboratory facilities.
